Synopsis Blue Lock:
The story begins with Japan's elimination from the 2018 FIFA World Cup, prompting the Japan Football Union to initiate a program to scout high school players who will begin training for the 2022 World Cup. Isagi Yoichi, a striker, receives an invitation to this program shortly after his team misses out on qualifying for the national championship. But his coach, Ego Jinpachi, intends to "end Japan's failing football" by introducing a radical new training regime: isolating 300 young strikers in a prison-like institution called "Blue Lock" and subjecting them to rigorous training with the goal of creating "The best striker in the world."
Finally, the first season of the anime was directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe at the Blue Lock studio Tetsuaki Watanabe.
Furthermore, the manga Blue Lock debuted in Weekly Shonen in August 2018, authored by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura.
