A rumor is gaining traction on social media regarding the third season of the anime Fire Force ( Enen no Shouboutai ). Apparently, the new season, confirmed for May 2022, will undergo changes in its staff and animation team.

Therefore, we will have the studio Shaft (Nisemonogatari, Madoka) taking care of the animation, instead of David Production (Jojo Bizzare Adventure) who took care of the past seasons . The rumor also confirms the chief direction of Gekidan Inu Curry and director Kenjirou Okada (Monogatari Series).
Synopsis
The story that takes place in the flames revolves around the young Shinra Kusakabe , a boy with a sinister smile and a dark past who generates fire from his feet and dreams of being a hero, but who joins other firefighters who fight fires and also have the power to control fire!
Finally, author Atsushi Ohkubo ( Soul Eater ) launched the Fire Force manga Kodansha 's Weekly Shounen in September 2015. The series received an anime adaptation with 24 episodes, produced by David Production, premiering on July 5, 2019 and also got its second season for July 2020.
Furthermore, the manga ended in February 2022.
