According to the rumor, Studio MAPPA will take over the animation of One Punch Man after the final episode of Attack on Titan . This would give the studio more availability to take on a new anime and release it in 2024. However, some people doubt the rumor due to the lack of confirmation from official sources.
Many people believed the 2022 leak, but the official One Punch Man Twitter account warned fans not to trust internet rumors. So now all that remains is to wait for official sources to comment to find out if the news is true or false.
Synopsis:
The plot revolves around Saitama, an ordinary man who decides to train to become a superhero, so he sets out to save people from monsters and other threats that arise. He has become so strong that he always finishes his fights in a few seconds, throwing just one punch. However, due to his overwhelming strength, Saitama has become bored and is constantly trying to find stronger opponents who can fight him on equal terms.
The first season premiered in 2015, directed by Shingo Natsume at Madhouse (Hunter x Hunter). The second season then premiered in January 2019, containing 12 episodes animated by JCStaff (Toradora!).
