The highly anticipated remake of the anime Rurouni Kenshin ( Samurai X) has received a new trailer, revealing several characters familiar to longtime fans of the series and the premiere date. According to the video, the series premieres in Japan on July 6th of this year.

In addition, we can hear the ending song “Kissaki” sung by singer Reol .
It is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto at the animation studio Liden Films (Tokyo Revengers, Yofukashi no Uta), composed by Hideyuki Kurata , character design by Terumi Nishii and music by Yu Takami .
Synopsis
The story follows the slashing swordsman Kenshin Himura , then known as one of the best swordsmen in the country, who is tired of killing so much. However, his past comes back to haunt him, and Kenshin will be forced to wield his sword again against enemies old and new that surround him.
Watsuki and his wife, Kaoru Kurosaki , launched the Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ in September 2017. However, the manga went on hiatus in December 2017 after Watsuki was accused of possession of child pornography. The series later resumed publication in June 2018.
Finally, Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) has the proposal to readapt the complete manga. What do you think of the new trailer and release date?
