Synopsis

The story follows the ruthless swordsman Kenshin Himura, once known as one of the best swordsmen in the country, who is weary of killing. However, his past returns to haunt him, and Kenshin will be forced to wield his sword once more against old and new enemies surrounding him.

Watsuki and his wife, Kaoru Kurosaki, launched the manga Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc in Shueisha's Jump SQ in September 2017. However, the manga went on hiatus in December 2017 after Watsuki was accused of possessing child pornography. Publication resumed in June of 2018.

Finally, Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) is set to adapt the entire manga. What do you think of the new trailer and release date?
