Anime Friends 2023 brought several attractions for the otaku audience, including artists from SACRA MUSIC , a Japanese anime music label. The label made its presence felt, bringing bands known to Brazilian fans such as FLOW , ASCA , Who-ya Extended , and SennaRin from SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] to the event.

This year, Anime Friends celebrated its 20th anniversary during a 4-day event: July 13th (Thursday) to July 16th (Sunday). Approximately 120,000 people attended, including fans from Chile, Paraguay, Peru, and Brazil.
On the 14th, the “ SACRA MUSIC FES. × Anime Friends 2023 ” took place for the first time in Brazil, featuring performances by ASCA, Who-ya Extended, and SennaRin. Approximately 3,000 fans gathered to watch the artists.
SennaRin
First, the show began with a performance by SennaRin, the famous singer known for her J-pop covers and anime songs. She has performed her music at anime conventions in various countries, including Canada, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam. SennaRin entertained the audience by singing cover songs such as " Bauklötze " from Attack on Titan and " StarRingChild " from Mobile Suit Gundam UC .
Who-ya Extended
Next, the audience watched a performance by the renowned singer Who-ya Extended. He put on an incredible show, singing “ Q-vism ,” the opening theme of PSYCHO-PASS 3 , and “ VIVID VICE ,” the second opening theme of Jujutsu Kaisen . While he performed, the Brazilian spectators showed their enthusiasm and chanted the classic “Olé, olé, olé, Who-ya Who-ya.”
ASCA
Finally, the last artist of the day was ASCA, who has already performed songs for several famous anime such as Sword Art One , Edens Zero , and Fate . She sang " Howling ," the opening theme for The Irregular at Magic High School: Visitor Arc , and " RESISTER ," the opening theme for Sword Art Online: Alicization . ASCA also invited SennaRin to sing the opening theme for Darwin's Game , " CHAIN ," in a duet.
Final presentation
When ASCA left the stage, the screen displayed the theme “Special Collaboration” to introduce the main attraction of the “SACRA MUSIC FES.” The three artists joined together at the end to sing the Attack on Titan theme song, “ Barricades ,” composed by Hiroyuki Sawano . The audience's excitement was evident as they all cheered with joy along with the artists at the end.
