Finally, we can breathe a sigh of relief. It has been confirmed that the legend will continue in full force, as Bandai, during the Tamashii Nation in Akihabara, Japan, confirmed that a new Saint Seiya anime, or Knights of the Zodiac, is in production for the Brazilian audience.
The series will be called Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold and will be a spinoff scheduled to premiere in the spring (between March and July) in Japan. The promotional image shows Aioria wearing a divine armor.
No details have been revealed. We don't know if it will be a TV series, an OVA, or even a movie. The fact is that the main factor behind this new anime is selling the new EX Soul of Gold action figure line. The version featuring Uncle Aioria has already been revealed and will be sold in April of next year (probably to coincide with the new production).
