According to the new June issue of Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine, Clamp anime project Sakura Card Captor to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original work. Without giving many details, Clamp said that more information will be available soon for fans.
manga series Sakura would be arriving in the July issue of the magazine.
In Brazil, it was shown on the Cartoon Network cable channel in 2000, on Rede Globo in 2001, and on the Boomerang cable channel in 2010, as well as on Ulbra TV. The manga series was published by JBC in 24 volumes in half-tankobon format in 2001, being the first manga in Brazil to be sold at newsstands, which in turn gave impetus to other manga. Because of this, in 2012 JBC released a special edition with colored pages in 12 volumes, just like the Japanese original.
