Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced this Wednesday the release date of the game Sword Art Online: Last Recollection for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

The game's release date is therefore set for October 6th this year .
However, the game will launch in Japan on October 5th. The company released a trailer featuring a preview of the game's theme song "VITA" by singer ReoNa:

Additionally, the singer's YouTube channel released a full version of the song and trailer:
SAO: Last Recollection will feature its own version of the War of Underworld arc, different from the original light novel series or even anime. The team promises that the game will feature the largest character roster in the franchise.
Sword Art Online: Progressive – Aria of a Starless Night, the first anime film in the “Sword Art Online -Progressive-” film series, premiered in Japan in October 2021.
Sword Art Online -Progressive- Scherzo of Deep Night, the second film, was scheduled to premiere on September 10, but only premiered on October 22 after a delay.
It is worth remembering that the franchise will be receiving a “new original film project”.
