According to the latest issue of Kadokawa Dengeki Bunko , the SAO:Girls Ops manga will now be published on the DenPlay Comic website .
Therefore, the series will continue on the DenPlay Comic from June 12th .
Synopsis of the original work : In 2022, a virtual reality game called Sword Art Online was released, along with the Nerve Gear, a helmet that stimulates the user's five senses through their brain, allowing players to control their in-game characters with their minds. Both the game and the Nerve Gear were created by Kayaba Akihiko.
On November 6, 2022, 10,000 players log into SAO for the first time, but soon discover they are unable to log out. Kayaba appears and tells players they must defeat all 100 floors of Aincrad, a steel castle that is the setting of SAO, if they want to leave the game.
