The second season of the anime Ultraman premieres this Thursday (14) on Netflix. According to the streaming service, six new warriors will bring more fights and action to the episodes, in epic battles against aliens that threaten Earth. The anime is an adaptation of the manga that follows the tokusatsu shown in the 60s.
The original series tells the story of Shin Hayata. After dying in an accident, the man is resurrected and thus merges with the mysterious Ultraman . From then on, Hayata faces countless enemies while trying to keep his identity secret. The manga, released in 2011, features as its protagonist the son of the original Ultraman, Shinjiro, who inherits his father's abilities. In Brazil, JBC publishes the work in print and digital format.
Inspired by the manga, the first season of Ultraman premiered in 2019 and had 13 episodes.
Synopsis:
Decades ago, a hero from the stars left the world alone. But now, Ultraman's son must protect Earth from a new alien threat. Therefore, young Shinjiro needs to use metallic armor to become Ultraman, as his father had done before.
