The official website for the film Kuroko no Basket: Extra Game , which will adapt the manga of the same name, revealed several promotional images from the project. In them we can see Kuroko, Akashi, Midorima and Murasakibara Vorpal Swords uniform . The site also reveals that the film will premiere in spring 2017.
The film will be a sequel to the television series, showing a competition between the five members of the Miracle Generation, plus Kuroko and Kagami against an American team.
The band OLDCODEX will be responsible for creating the film's theme.
To celebrate the announcement, the site showed three images with backgrounds painted by YORKE , a member of OLDCODEX. In them we can see Kuroko, Kagami and Aomine .
Finally, the cinemas are offering four different cup holders to anyone who goes to the cinema to watch the first film, these being Kuroko, Kagami, Aomine and the team from the Teiko
