The official website for the Kawaii dake Ja Nai Shikimori-san 's manga, Keigo Maki has revealed the cast, staff, visual, and premiere date of April 2022.

Ryota Itoh (Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi) is directing the anime at Doga Kobo (Yesterday wo Utatte) with Shohei Yamanaka as assistant director. Yoshimi Narita (Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi) is in charge of the series scripts. Ai Kikuchi (New Game!,Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?) is doing the character design.
Synopsis
Shikimori seems like the perfect girlfriend: cute, fun to be around, sweet when she wants to be… but she has a cool dark side that emerges under the right circumstances. And her boyfriend, Izumi, loves being around when that happens! A fun and funny high school romance with a cheeky twist, perfect for fans of Nagatoro-san and Komi Can't Communicate!
Finally, Keigo Maki's romantic comedy manga Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san was launched in February 2019 on Magazine Pocket 's Kodansha, and also has print volumes.
