An anime adaptation of the game Shin Sakura Taisen has been announced, and will premiere in 2020. Along with the anime's reveal, a poster featuring its visuals and a trailer were released.
With animation by Sanzigen , Manabu Ono is directing and writing the scripts, with assistance from Tatsuhiko Urahata. The anime's music will be composed by Kouhei Tanaka.
