An anime adaptation of the Shin Sakura Taisen has been announced, and will premiere in 2020.Along with the anime's reveal, a poster showcasing its visual style and a trailer were also released.
Featuring animation by studio Sanzigen, Manabu Ono is directing and writing the anime, with the help of Tatsuhiko Urahata. The anime's music will be composed by Kouhei Tanaka.
