Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis (Rage of Bahamut Genesis), an anime based on the traditional card game, has released its second trailer, featuring excerpts from the theme song "EXiSTENCE" sung by SiM. It premieres on October 6th on the Japanese channels Tokyo-MX, KSB, BS11, and AT-X.
Keiichi Satou (Tiger & Bunny, Black Butler) is directing this new adaptation at studio MAPPA (Space Dandy). Naoyuki Onda (Berserk: The Golden Age Arc, Detective Story of the Animatrix) is serving as character designer and chief animation director, and Yoshihiro Ike (Tiger & Bunny, Karas) is composing the music.
The game franchise has already inspired a series of commercials made by directors Kenji Kamiyama (Higashi no Eden, 009 Re: Cyborg) and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and composer Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, Macross Plus / Frontier).
