The official website for the animated series Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis (Rage of Bahamut Genesis) has released its character list and its premiere month, which is scheduled for October of this year.
Keiichi Satou (Tiger & Bunny, Black Butler) is directing this new adaptation at studio MAPPA (Space Dandy). Naoyuki Onda (Berserk: The Golden Age Arc, Detective Story of the Animatrix) is serving as character designer and chief animation director, and Yoshihiro Ike (Tiger & Bunny, Karas) is composing the music.
The game franchise has already inspired a series of commercials made by directors Kenji Kamiyama (Higashi no Eden, 009 Re: Cyborg) and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, and composer Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, Macross Plus / Frontier).
