2013, a beautiful year for an unusual anime debut, was what happened with Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). We believe that nerd culture, especially otaku, needed this, a different anime for a new generation, different from the classics Naruto, One piece and others.

Shingeki no Kyojin or for the strong Attack on Titan, was the highest-rated anime in 2013 on Japanese TV and the second best-selling manga of the year. So what are fans waiting for in 2014? the answer couldn't be any other, a second season, to delve even deeper into the story of Eren and his gang as described in the manga, unfortunately that won't happen this year.

According to a recent interview with the newspaper The Nikkei , the president of Wit Studio, Joji Wada , declared that his desire is to see more animated episodes of the series, as the manga is almost being achieved by its anime version. Unfortunately, when this happens, studios create the hated fillers, this was actually not an option for studio Wit.

Joji Wada stated that he is working on OVAs to release with limited editions of the manga, in addition to the series being very close to the original story. Because of this, it would be impossible to produce a second season for the Shingeki no Kyojin anime this year.

Unfortunately friends..., let's sit down, eat a pizza and watch other animes, and of course hope for the anime to return in 2015 or perhaps at the end of 2014.
