The October issue of Da Vinci published a feature on the Shingeki no Kyojin "Attack on Titan" and an interview with creator Hajime Isayama. In the interview, Isayama said he initially planned to finish the manga after publishing 16 volumes, but expanded his plans to adequately portray the emotional narrative and the growing number of characters.
Isayama then added that Shingeki no Kyojin will end the manga in about three years. The creator had said last year that he intended to complete his manga in 20 bound volumes. His editor, Shintaro Kawakubo, said earlier this year that "The serialization is expected to end in three or four years."
Kodansha published volume 14 in Japan in August. In Brazil, Shingeki no Kyojin is being published by Editora Panini and is currently on volume 5.
Shingeki no Kyojin is a manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The manga was first published in September 2009 in the monthly Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, published by Japanese publisher Kōdansha.
