ShiroBako movie gets a new trailer!

Alann
Incredibly, I know more about anime than I watch, but it still serves as a good pastime.

The official website ShiroBako movie project started streaming a new trailer for the anime this Thursday (08). The film is animated by studio PA Works and features the return of the series director, Tsutomu Mizushima , and premieres in spring 2020 .

The original Shirobako primarily focuses on Aoi Miyamori, a production assistant at the animation studio Musashino Animations. The story follows her daily life at the company and the problems that arise in an animation studio, as well as the excessive workload involved in producing an anime. In parallel, it also focuses on Miyamori's friends, who work or aspire to work in the Japanese animation industry.

The film's production team says that the "story will continue" in the film where it left off in the anime. During the Tokyo Anime Awards Festival in 2016, producer Takayuki Nagatani stated that if they were to decide on a theme for the film, it would be that of a sequel to the series.
