According to the statement, the problem happened on the 7th at 2:43 pm and lasted until 6 pm (Japan time). Eventually, this happened due to human error by the publisher itself, which left users' personal data exposed to other people.

In other words, some users had improper access to other customers' information such as email address, gender, date of birth, bonus coins, coin balance, purchases and subscriptions. However, the publisher claims that at least user passwords were not leaked during this issue.

“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused to our customers.

In the editorial department, we will increase information security awareness among all employees and work to prevent recurrence by ensuring proper work.”

Therefore, the company apologized to the affected users and informed that there were no unauthorized charges or misuse of their coins on the website. Furthermore, the statement also claims that affected customers will receive 500 coins as a reward.
