Shunkashūtō Daikōsha (Agents of the Four Seasons) has released its first trailer, highlighting the autumn season. The anime is created by Kana Akatsuki, the creator of the famous Violet Evergarden.

Therefore, the Shunkashūtō Daikōsha animation, which depicts the seasons, is animated by WIT STUDIO and directed by Takeshi Yamamoto.

A divine fantasy about the seasons

The story takes place in a world where special humans receive sacred powers from the gods of the seasons. They are known as "Agents of the Four Seasons" and have the mission of maintaining the cycle of nature. However, after the disappearance of the Spring Agent, Hanaha Hinagiku, the country plunged into imbalance: spring disappeared ten years ago.

Her loyal bodyguard, Sakura Himetaka, never gave up searching for her. When Hinagiku finally returns, they both embark on a journey to restore the lost station—and perhaps, heal old wounds.

Thus, Shunkashūtō Daikōsha (Agents of the Four Seasons) promises a poetic narrative about loss, new beginnings, and eternal love, with the characteristic sensitivity of Akatsuki. The anime is directed by Ken Yamamoto, with supervision by Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Violet Evergarden), character design by Namiko Torii , and art direction by Yusuke Takeda (Bamboo).
