He also says he is eagerly awaiting the film's release in Latin America.
Synopsis:
Slam Dunk tells the story of Hanamichi Sakuragi, a high school student and delinquent who is in love with the delicate Haruko Akagi, who introduces him to the world of basketball. Thus, the clumsy character begins to get involved in the sport with the intention of joining his school's basketball team just to get Haruko's attention. However, Sakuragi develops a genuine passion for basketball when he feels the adrenaline of the game. Alongside his captain Takenori Akagi, his rival Rukawa Kaede, and the rest of the team, he plays to win the inter-high school tournament.
Takehiko Inoue then published his iconic sports manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1990 to 1996, totaling 31 volumes. The manga inspired an anime in 1993 and received four sequels in animated film format.
