Somali to Mori no Kamisama manga ends due to author's health worsening

North Star Pictures posted on the Comic Zenon Yako Gureishi 's Somali to Mori no Kamisama manga has ended its serialization due to the author's worsening health.

Somali to Mori no Kamisama was published by Tokuma Shoten on Web Comic Zenyon between April 2015 and October 2019, with 6 volumes. Furthermore, at the beginning of this year the manga received an anime adaptation by Satelight and HORNETS, licensed by Crunchyroll , the animation had 12 episodes.

Synopsis

The world is ruled by spirits, goblins and all sorts of strange creatures. Humans are persecuted to the point of extinction. However, one day, a golem and a lonely human girl meet. This is a record of the pair; one a member of a ruined race, the other a forest watchman. He talks about their travels together and the bond between father and daughter.

Finally, the manga has no plans to return and even with a good reception in the first season of the anime, a second season has not been announced.
