In Japan, the PlayStation 5 and Switch versions will be available both physically and digitally. However, the PlayStation 4 edition will be exclusively digital. Additionally, the game will feature support for multiple languages, including Portuguese (Portugal), English, Japanese, and Chinese.
Classic storyline and gameplay with new features
In Sonic Wings Reunion, players control a team of pilots facing off against the Fata Morgana organization, a global threat possessing superweapons and advanced technology. The narrative adapts based on the characters' choices, leading to different outcomes.
The gameplay maintains the classic arcade shooter style with eight stages in modern settings. In addition, there are futuristic weapons, bonus stages, and the possibility of unlocking hidden characters as you progress through the game.

Game modes and custom soundtrack of Sonic Wings Reunion
The game features a local cooperative mode, allowing players to face challenges together and experience unique interactions between characters. It's also possible to adjust the difficulty level, activate invincibility mode, and access a practice mode.
The soundtrack is another highlight, offering three options: the original, composed by Soshi Hosoi; a rearranged version by a renowned Japanese artist; and a third alternative called "Mao Mao Mode." This allows the player to choose which version they want to listen to during matches.
Beyond the nostalgic experience, Sonic Wings Reunion arrives with support for achievements, online leaderboards, and cloud saves. These features ensure greater competitiveness and flexibility for players. With improved graphics and adjustable mechanics, the title promises to attract both franchise veterans and new fans of the genre.
