Classic plot and gameplay with new features
In Sonic Wings Reunion, players control a team of pilots facing off against the Fata Morgana organization, a global threat wielding superweapons and advanced technology. The narrative adapts based on the characters' choices, bringing different twists and turns.
The gameplay maintains the classic arcade shooter style with eight stages set in modern settings. Additionally, there are futuristic weapons, bonus stages, and the ability to unlock hidden characters as you progress.
Sonic Wings Reunion Game Modes and Custom Soundtrack
The game features local co-op, allowing players to face challenges together and experience unique character interactions. Players can also adjust the difficulty level, activate invincibility mode, and access a practice mode.
The soundtrack is another highlight, offering three options: the original, by composer Soshi Hosoi; a re-arranged version by a renowned Japanese artist; and a third alternative called "Mao Mao Mode." This allows players to choose which version they want to listen to during matches.
In addition to the nostalgic experience, Sonic Wings Reunion comes with support for achievements, online leaderboards, and cloud saves. These features ensure greater competitiveness and flexibility for players. With improved graphics and customizable mechanics, the title promises to appeal to both franchise veterans and new fans.
