The official website for the anime of Sore Demo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru revealed a new promotional video and image for the anime on Tuesday.
The video previews the opening theme song, titled " Kakehiki wa Poker Face ," by Kana Hanazawa , and also reveals the anime's premiere date as July 7th of this year.

Synopsis
On a whim, first-year student Ayumu Tanaka leaves the Kendo Club to join the illegitimate Shogi Club. Urushi Yaotome, the club's president and shogi teacher, is overjoyed to finally have found a playmate. As Ayumu's senpai, Urushi strives to be her shogi mentor and role model student. Still, she often blushes with embarrassment! With a rather honest face, Ayumu sees no problem in calling her "cute," and although her feelings are obvious, she refrains from confessing them and vows that she will first defeat her in a game of shogi.
The author Yamamoto (Karakai Jouzo no Takagi-san) launched the manga in Weekly Shounen in March 2019, commemorating the 60th anniversary .
