Last month, the artist known as “Sakimichan” faced an online debate after drawing an adult version of the character Anya Forger from the anime Spy × Family.
Despite the criticism she received, the artist spoke out on her social media, stating:
Hugs and love, all the support is appreciated. I'll continue drawing what I find interesting, even if it's not to everyone's taste. I'll also continue learning and improving my skills.

Fans expressed diverse opinions in their post:
- I love your work, but please stop using this character.
- She is 31 years old in the cartoon, it is important to clarify that.
- I don't know how to feel about this.
- Why not choose Yor over Anya?
- She's drawing because it brings attention to her account, which is understandable.
- It would be great to see this energy used to truly advocate for children.
- You could draw any female character with pink hair and get the same effect, but why Anya?
- I like her work, but aging a young character just to be lewd makes me question humanity.
