While staying in Los Angeles, George Wada gave an interview to the website Comic Book. He commented that he was already interested in the Spy x Family manga before the anime adaptation, and his studio fought hard for the rights to animate it. However, his biggest challenge was replicating Tatsuya Endo's cute art style.

"The biggest challenge I faced was having to draw in a cute way, having to learn that. CloverWorks helped me a lot with that [change]."

Synopsis:

The story follows the life of Twilight, a famous spy known worldwide as a master of disguise. He always manages to complete his missions successfully, but the spy faced a sudden challenge when he needed to "start a family." The WISE spy agency hires Twilight for Operation Strix, with the objective of spying on and discovering the intentions of Donovan Desmond, the Prime Minister of Ostania. To get closer to his target, he adopts Anya, a little girl with supernatural powers, and marries Yor, a assassin hired Loid, Twilight has to carry out his mission in secret and pretend to have a perfect family at the same time.

Finally, in Brazil, the anime is distributed through the Crunchyroll.
