The official website for anime revealed today (31) that the anime character Mao/Blue Cat will debut as a Precure heroine under the name Cure Cosmo in the show's 20th episode on June 23. Sumire Uesaka voices the character. Mao, a cosmic idol singer, debuted in the show's 15th episode. The character also has a phantom thief alter ego known as Blue Cat. The site also revealed a new visual showing the anime's five heroines.
Star☆Twinkle Precure is the 16th and most recent Precure (Pretty Cure) anime television series, which premiered on February 3.
The story of Star ☆ Twinkle Precure begins when protagonist Hikaru encounters aliens Lala, Prunce, and Fuwa while observing the night sky. She learns about the “Star Palace,” where the princesses of 12 star constellations maintained the balance of the universe until they were attacked. Lala is looking for the legendary Precure Warriors to help find the 12 scattered “Princess Star Color Pens” and revive the princesses. When Fuwa is captured by an enemy, Hikaru wishes to save Fuwa, and a Star Color Pendent and Star Color Pen appear to allow her to transform into Cure Star. From there, she works to collect the pens and create Fuwa, who is the key to reviving the princesses.
