Excellent news for fans of the Steins;Gate is that according to some publications out there, Shinichiro Nariie has released a new adaptation of the manga titled Steins;Gate: Mugen Enten no Arc Light , based on the 2010 drama CD that tells a story not told by Steins;Gate, from the point of view of Rintaro Okabe, childhood friend of Mayuri Shiina .
Let's wait for a possible adaptation for Japanese TVs, who knows.
Steins;Gate (シュタインズ・ゲート, Shutainzu Gēto?) is a Japanese visual novel developed by 5pb. and Nitroplus, and was released on October 15, 2009 for the Xbox 360. This is the second time these companies have worked together after Chaos;Head.
A manga adaptation was written by Sarachi Yomi and began distribution in Monthly Comic Alive magazine on September 26, 2009. A second manga series was written by Kenji Mizuta and distributed in Monthly Comic Blade magazine on December 28, 2009. An anime version aired in Japan from April 6, 2011, to September 14, 2011, with intentions of being adapted into a film. A sequel to the game titled Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Darling was released on June 16, 2011.
