Great news for fans of the Steins;Gate saga: according to some publications abroad, Shinichiro Nariie has released a new manga adaptation titled Steins;Gate: Mugen Enten no Arc Light , based on the 2010 CD drama that tells a story not told in Steins;Gate, from the point of view of Rintaro Okabe, Mayuri Shiina 's childhood friend .
Let's wait and see if there's a possible adaptation for Japanese TVs, who knows.
Steins;Gate (シュタインズ・ゲート, Shutainzu Gēto?) is a Japanese visual novel developed by 5pb. and Nitroplus, and was released on October 15, 2009 for the Xbox 360. This is the second time these companies have worked together after Chaos;Head.
A manga adaptation by Sarachi Yomi began serialization in Monthly Comic Alive magazine on September 26, 2009. A second manga series by Kenji Mizuta was serialized in Monthly Comic Blade magazine on December 28, 2009. An anime adaptation aired in Japan between April 6, 2011, and September 14, 2011, with plans for a film adaptation. A sequel to the game, titled Steins;Gate: Hiyoku Renri no Darling, was released on June 16, 2011.
