Director and screenwriter Joey Ansah , who directed the web series Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist published by the Machinima channel, announced at the Capcom panel at the Comic-Con event that the second season has been greenlit and will happen. Present on the panel were Mike Moh (Ryu) and Gaku Space (Goki).
Jacqueline Quella and Mark Wooding are producing, as they did the first season, and are already eyeing a late 2015/early 2016 release date. The first season premiered in early 2014 as a 12-part series. Thus receiving more than 16 million views.

The new series will feature more of Capcom's iconic game characters and will pick up where it left off, with Ryu and Ken on their “Musha Shugyo” (warrior's pilgrimage).
Said Quella: “We are delighted to continue our relationship with Capcom, to bring another of the iconic characters from the Street Fighter video game to the screen. We demonstrate with Assassin's Fist an authentic, live-action version of a video game, with a compelling and dramatic plot. We're going to take the same approach with the new series."
Assassin's Fist is being released internationally in Fall 2014 on DVD and Blu-ray formats, as well as on TV.
