Strike Witches franchise website has released news about the OVAs announced last year on this site. The new project will be called ( Strike Witches Operation Victory Arrow ), which takes place parallel to Operation Mars, as shown in the second season and also in the film released in 2012.
The OVAs will open with three 30-minute stories depicting the lives of the girls who have returned to their respective homes.
To celebrate this new project, there will be special screenings at events and also in cinemas.
The first Strike Witches Operation Victory Arrow OVA special is scheduled for release in the fall. Strike Witches adapts a mecha-girl adventure illustrated by Humikane Shimada . The first season of the anime aired in 2008, while the second season premiered in 2010. Additionally, an anime film adaptation premiered in Japan in 2012, and a third season was announced in 2013.
