The official website for the Strike Witches has been updated and announced that the 3rd season, including the OVA, has been greenlit this past weekend. The announcement was made during a strike in the middle of a Halloween event in Tokyo.
Strike Witches adapts a mecha-girl adventure illustrated by Humikane Shimada. The first season of the anime aired in 2008, while the second season premiered in 2010. Additionally, an anime film adaptation debuted in Japan last year.
