Hiromasa Yonebayashi , the director of several Studio Ghibli , was recently hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. He is now receiving medical treatment in Japan and it seems his health is gradually improving.

The information came from Hiromasa Yonebayashi himself on his Twitter profile. According to his message, he is still in the hospital and undergoing tests. Thanks to the medical treatment he received, the director survived his heart attack and should improve soon.
"Actually, I had a heart attack and I'm currently in the hospital... I was eventually transferred to a general ward. Things are going well."
Originally, Yonebayashi began his career at Studio Ghibli in 1997 and worked on the animation of Princess Mononoke . In addition, he assisted in the production of Spirited Away , Ponyo, and Moving Castle . As a director, he worked on The Secret World of Arrietty and When Marnie Was There . After leaving Studio Ghibli, he joined Studio Ponoc , where he directed Mary and the Witch's Flower and Modest Heroes .
Synopsis:
