The official website for Suisei no Gargantia has been updated and includes news about the highly anticipated OVA titled Suisei no Gargantia ~Meguru Kōro, Haruka (Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet).
Last year it was announced that the series would get a new season, but this was denied after the announcement of the OVA, which will be divided into two parts. The first part is scheduled for release at the end of the year.
The OVA will introduce the character Reema, a rookie messenger transferred from the ship Kugel. She is 13 years old and works under Amy's command. The character Ledo continues as a pilot from Yunboro for the Bellows.
