Bandai Visual 's official YouTube channel has released the full trailer for the highly anticipated Suisei no Gargantia titled Meguru Kōro, Haruka-on. The trailer introduces the new character Reema , voiced by Inori Minase, and features the theme song "Hajimari no Tsubasa" (First Wing) by the band TRUE.
The website revealed the OVA's story, the new cast members, and the returning crew.
Ledo now lives his new life with his comrades aboard the Gargantia fleet, and he works as a member of the rescue team working to recover pieces of human civilization. Reema, a girl who used to be part of the Cugel fleet, then appears. After Ledo and Reema meet, Ledo reflects on his former life in military service and how the life he now lives aboard the Gargantia is completely different.
Kazuya Murata will direct the OVA series at Production IG Nitroplus. Gen Urobuchi is supervising the story, and Daishiro Tanimura is handling the script. Hanaharu Naruko is designing the characters, and Masako Tashiro is adapting Naruko's designs for animation, also serving as chief animation director.
