Nintendo 's online event , news was revealed about the production of the animated Super Mario movie . According to reports, actor Chris Pratt will play Mario.

In addition, actors with names like Jack Black , who will voice Bowser, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong will be featured.
The production is by Chris Meledandri and Shigeru Miyamoto , the character's creator.
Finally, the film is produced by Illumination ( Despicable Me ), and the CGI animation will have its world premiere on December 21, 2022.
