During Nintendo 's online event , news was revealed about the production of the animated Super Mario movie . According to reports, actor Chris Pratt will play Mario.

In addition, actors with names like Jack Black , who will voice Bowser, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong will be featured.
The production is by Chris Meledandri and Shigeru Miyamoto, the character's creator.
Finally, the film is produced by Illumination (Despicable Me), and the CGI animation will have its world premiere on December 21, 2022.
