Bandai Namco announced Super Robot Taisen V ( Super Robot Wars V ) for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita . The game is expected to be released in Japan in 2017.
It is the second project to celebrate the franchise's 25th anniversary . The first project announced was Super Robot Taisen OG: Moon Dwellers for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
The game franchise was launched on April 20, 1991 with Super Robot Wars on the Game Boy. It currently includes more than 90 works, including “Best Editions”, and has sold more than 16 million copies.
