The new film Suzume no Tojimari ( Suzume's Door-Locking ) by director Makoto Shinkai ( Your Name, Tenki no Ko ) has been confirmed for release in Brazil . According to information, the Crunchyroll is responsible for launching around the world in 2023, as soon as the debut in Japan takes place on November 11, 2022.
In Brazil, the film will be distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment , while in French and German-speaking countries the film will be distributed by Crunchyroll , Sony Pictures and Wild Bunch International .
Synopsis
The story centers on Suzume, a 17-year-old girl from a quiet town in Kyuushuu who meets a young man looking for a door. They find a door inside the mountain ruins, and Suzume opens it. Soon, more doors begin to open around Japan, bringing disaster on the other side. The film depicts Suzume's liberation and growth as she closes the doors that are causing the disaster.
Finally, the team planned the project from January to March 2020, developed the script from April to August of that same year and prepared the scripts from September 2020 to December 2021. The actual production of the animation only started in April 2022.
