Bandai Namco Entertainment released the opening animation produced by A-1 Pictures this Saturday for the game “Sword Art Online: Last Recollection”, as well as trailers for the characters Mito and Yuuki.
A demo of the game will be available on September 26th. Players will be able to progress through the main story up to Chapter 2, with save data carrying over to the full version of the game.

The game's release date is therefore set for October 6th this year .
SAO: Last Recollection will then feature its own version of the War of Underworld arc, different from the original series of light novels or even anime. The team promises that the game will feature the largest roster of characters in the franchise.
Sword Art Online: Progressive – Aria from A Night Without Stars, the first anime film in the “Sword Art Online -Progressive-” film series, premiered in Japan in October 2021.
Sword Art Online -Progressive- Scherzo of Deep Night, the second film, was scheduled to premiere on September 10th, but only opened on October 22nd after a delay.
Furthermore, it is worth remembering that the franchise will be receiving a “new original film project”.
