Sword Art Online: The Beginning – The company Anime Consortium Japan, along with the paid streaming service Daisuki, released a 10-minute video showing the team conducting a full test of the Sword Art Online The Beginning game concept at IBM.
Those who participated were able to scan their bodies as 3D avatars for the demonstration. Users were able to manipulate their avatar in the game using a variety of hardware, including Oculus Rift and various other devices.
At the start of the demonstration, the players were placed in a kind of "bazaar" environment, allowing them to test their ability to manipulate objects in the world.
