Sword of the Demon Hunter: Kijin Gentoushou, the new anime set in Japan's Edo period, has had its premiere date revealed. Additionally, fans can view a new image.

Therefore, the series will premiere with a 1-hour special on July 27, 2024. The animation production will be handled by Yokohama Animation Lab (Hametsu no Oukoku, Lapis Re:LiGHTs).

Synopsis:

The story unfolds during Japan's Edo period and revolves around Jinta, a bodyguard tasked with protecting a priestess in a remote mountain village. Despite being an outsider in the community, Jinta finds himself entrusted with an epic mission: hunting a demon deep within the forest. However, upon confronting the demon, he is confronted with an enigmatic future full of mysteries.

Finally, Sword of the Demon Hunter began publication in June 2019 with art by Tamaki. The series has over 230,000 copies in circulation in Japan.
