
Synopsis:
The Garden of Words begins in June, during a rainy season in Japan. A shoemaker in training named Takao is designing shoes in a Japanese-style garden when he encounters a mysterious older woman. From this first meeting, the two continue to get to know each other and their relationship deepens.
Kenichi Tsuchiya designed the characters and supervised the animation process. Hiroshi Takiguchi served as art director, and Daisuke Kashiwa composed the music. Miyu Irino and Kana Hanazawa headlined the cast as Takao and Yukino, respectively. Motohiro Hata contributed the theme song “Rain,” with lyrics and music by Senri Oe.
