Taishou Otome – Anime reveals new PV and premieres in October

Production company Pony Canyon revealed a new PV for the anime Taishou Otome Otogi Banashi , along with its October premiere on Funimation .

The preview reveals the theme song “Makokoro ni Sou” by Shunichi Toki.

Furthermore, Shueisha also revealed on Thursday that Kirioka will be drawing a new spinoff manga for the series titled Taisho Otome Otogi Banashi: Enseika no Shokutaku . The manga will launch on the Shonen Jump+ website and app on July 23.

Synopsis

The manga is set in Taisho-era Japan and centers on Tamahiko Shima, a young man who lost the use of his right hand in an accident and now lives in a rural area of ​​Chiba prefecture to care for his health. However, one day he meets the naive and devoted Yuzuki, whom Tamahiko's father bought to be Tamahiko's wife. Through this encounter, the pessimistic and withdrawn Tamahiko begins to change.

Finally, Sana Kirioka launched the manga in Jump SQ in 2015, and it concluded with 5 volumes in 2017. Furthermore, Kirioka serialized the sequel, Showa Otome Otogi Banashi, on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website and app, which ended in March 2020 with 5 volumes.
