Namco Bandai Games has released a new promotional video for the Tales of Asteria smartphone game. The video announces that Studio Wit is animating the game's cutscenes and opening sequence.
The gameplay features a "cross swipe battle" system to rearrange characters to combine attributes and a "Tap action" system, where players match in time with 3D models of the characters.
The RPG will be released this spring for smartphones via the App Store and Google Play store, and will be free-to-play with in-game content available for purchase. The game will include six main characters from past Tales series games in a completely new story.
