The official website for the anime Tate no Yuusha (The Rising of the Shield Hero) has just officially confirmed that its 4th season will have 12 episodes. This information came via the Blu-ray and DVD release schedule for the new season.
According to the official website, the episodes will be distributed across three volumes. The first will be released on October 29, 2025, containing episodes 1 through 4. Subsequently, volume 2 will arrive on November 26, with episodes 5 through 8. The final volume is scheduled for December 24, containing episodes 9 through 12.
Each volume will be available in Blu-ray and DVD format, and will include exclusive gifts for fans of the series. Currently, the production of the fourth season is in the hands of the Kinema Citrus, which had already worked on the previous seasons.
