Raphtalia and Naofumi receive a new animation for Maplestar, which has had its animation finalized. The announcement of the new animation for the anime Tate no Yuusha (The Rising of the Shield Hero) came after fans requested from the community for Maplestar to finish the short film.

Maplestar's comments about the animation were as follows:

I put a lot of effort into this project and had a lot of fun doing it. I learned some really interesting things in post-production, especially with the light effects passing through the trees! After two shorter Shield Hero animations, I'm happy to finally be able to bring you a slightly longer animation. It's been a while since the last one I did, and I think I've improved a lot since then, so it was a lot of fun experimenting with new styles in all the scenes!

Furthermore, maplestar commented on the animation Frieren : Regarding the DxD and Frieren projects , they are going very well! I believe I will be able to launch Project Frieren in December and DxD in early January!

About Maplestar:

Therefore, the talented animator has been winning over fans around the world with his animations aimed at a specific audience. With a portfolio full of memorable characters, such as the enigmatic Makima from Chainsaw Man, the cunning Yor Forger from SPY x FAMILY, and the enchanting Marin Kitagawa from Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru, Maplestar has solidified his place as a leading artist in the contemporary animation scene

Although some question his choice to dedicate himself to producing animations of this style, the success he has achieved in this niche is undeniable.
