I'm a technology enthusiast and a lover of anime, manga, and games. The vast majority of anime I enjoy belong to the Shounen demographic.

The official website for the Tearmoon Empire revealed on Friday, through a promotional video, that the anime will premiere in October of this year.

Tomori Kusunoki will voice Anne Littstein, while Yuichiro Umehara will voice Ludwig Hewitt.

The anime stars Sumire Uesaka as the heroine Mia Luna Tearmoon.

Therefore, the direction is by  Yuushi Ibe (Shijou Saikyou no Daimaou) composed by Deko Akao (Hitomi Mieno) and character designer by Mai Ootsuka (Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki).

Synopsis:

Tearmoon tells the story of Mia, who died on the guillotine after the revolution that occurred in the Tearmoon Empire. However, after her death, she realized she had reverted to being a child… that she had traveled back in time. So, with her diary full of information about future events and the fear of having to die on the guillotine once more, she decides to change her destiny, altering the future of an entire nation.

The author, Nozomu Mochitsuki, began the novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in August 2018, and it was later acquired by TO Books, which currently publishes the print series with illustrations by Gilse.

Finally, a manga adaptation with illustrations by Mizu Morino was released on the manga website Comic Corona in August 2019. In May 2022, J-Novel Club announced that it had also licensed the manga.
