Tengen Uzui's past in the Demon Slayer anime has been confirmed

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has finished its second season of the anime , where the Entertainment District Arc introduced us to a very different character: Tengen Uzui .

Uzui is one of the main supporting characters of the season and one of the protagonists of the arc that began on December 5th, being the current Sound Hashira . So let's delve deeper into his past according to the Kimetsu no Yaiba Fanbook 2 .

The book states that the character Tengen Uzui had eight brothers ; however, three of them died due to their father's excessive training. The other five, along with him, were forced to fight each other to the death while masked.

Thus, Tangen only realized what his father had planned after killing two of his brothers without knowing who they were . Tengen's last brother also killed two more of his brothers, and in the end only two of the nine children .

Therefore, his brother had no remorse and remained in the clan, while Tengen Uzui decided to leave his clan permanently.

The character ended up leaving on his journey, abandoning the future that awaited him as a ninja in the clan. After this moment, Kagaya Ubuyashiki ends up being recruited to become a member of the Demon Slayer Corps , mainly due to the level of strength he developed from training in his past.

In the end, Uzui actively accepted the offer to become a demon slayer .
